Sally Ride literally had every characteristic explained on page 7. She believed that the key to becoming successful in life and to reach your goals is to have good communication. By doing this, she was able to finish double majoring in English and physics, and also finished getting her PhD in physics at Stanford. She also is an analytical thinker. She benefited by using strategies to help set things clear in order to meet the goals she set for herself. It also helped her become one of thirty-five people to become an astronaut. With all this research and experience, she then opened up, Sally Ride Science which helps girls become educated with the knowledge of space exploration but most importantly help them become familiar with communication. She really does believe that communication is the most important and gets people to wherever they desire to go in life. I support her choice because it really does help make life easier and beneficial.

I agree she did have all the characteristics explained on page 7. She showed good communication and was very fond about having it to be able to reach goals in life. With that mentality she was able to reach her goals in double majoring in physics and English. With her analytic kills she was able to use strategies to help make things clear and meet her goals for herself. She was able to snatch the job at NASA with her analytic skills. She was also successful with that career because she had good communication skills. Her critical thinking skills are something that people should look up to and include into their lives.
ReplyDeleteShe had all the characteristics listed on page 7 including analytic, communication and research skills. She used her thinking abilities and communication the most because that's what her job entitled. She had to effectively communicate from the ground to staff in order to get them information basically essential to the staffs survival. She also used her communication skills to address the United Nations about the discoveries through the research of NASA. I think she is an icon at NASA and people should absolutely follow in her footsteps. Her communication and thinking skills are the basis of any job at NASA.
